These Production Guidelines explain how we work, what you receive, and how rights and delivery are handled. The specifics of your engagement are confirmed in your quote or contract; where the contract differs, the contract prevails.

How a project runs

We handle production end-to-end, brief to delivery:

Brief. We agree the goal, the channel the assets are for (LinkedIn, website, reports, ads, listings, print), the shot list and the deliverables.
Plan / moodboard. For creative work we align on direction before the shoot day. Pre-production (concepts, moodboards) is optional; when it is skipped for timing, creative direction is led by Lux Photo Pro. References sent after editing has begun may incur additional charges. For retainers, the monthly content plan is shared ahead of the month.
Production. We shoot in our Belair studio or on-site, using one consistent lighting and colour standard either way. Larger shoots are covered by our in-house team, not a single freelancer.
Post and delivery. Files are edited to a single colour standard and delivered channel-ready.

Photo editing levels

Colour correction — global grading, included on all projects.
Basic editing — ~10 minutes per image; clean, natural result.
Advanced editing — ~20 minutes per image; detailed retouch that preserves texture.
High-end retouch — ~1 hour per image; premium commercial work, quoted separately.

Selection and revisions

For staged shoots you select your favourites from a preview gallery within 3 business days; for reportage and events we curate the selection. One revision round is included per deliverable; further changes are quoted as rework or new work.

Turnaround (indicative, confirmed per project)

Real estate: 24–48 hours
Corporate portraits: preview next day; final files in ~5–7 days (urgent same-day preview available as a paid add-on)
Events: 7–14 business days
Studio / commercial photography: ~14 business days
Video: up to ~28 business days depending on length and edits
Retainer: edited photos within ~7 business days, short-form video within ~10 business days

Files, RAW and archiving

We deliver edited files — photos as JPG (web ~2048px, print ~4500px), video as MP4. RAW files are not delivered as standard and can be licensed separately. We store project files for two months after delivery; keep your own copies after that or arrange extended archiving in the contract.

Usage rights and confidentiality

On full payment you receive the usage rights agreed in your contract for the delivered files. We retain the right to use delivered work in our portfolio and marketing unless the contract states otherwise. We sign NDAs on request and work NDA-friendly by default; galleries are password-protected; behind-the-scenes capture happens only with your approval. Where people are photographed, the client is responsible for obtaining the necessary consents unless agreed otherwise.

Booking, payment and areas served

Project work: 50% deposit at booking, 50% on delivery, billed with a full VAT invoice (LU36089387); PO numbers supported. Studio (Belair) or on-site — the same standard applies. We serve Luxembourg and the Belgian/French border region; destination work on request. Tenders/RFPs: [email protected], reply within one business day.
